Welcome to my website

Every September the Mill Valley Chamber of Commerce publishes a 48 page magazine called the “Enjoy Mill Valley Guide”. Each spring they invite artists to submit artwork for the cover that expresses the theme for the year which is “Connectivity” for 2023-2024. My image “At the Clocktower in Mill Valley” was chosen out of the 39 artworks received and I am very honored about that. This guide will be inserted in the September issue of Marin Magazine with has a circulation of 30,000! Of course it’s also available for pickup at the Chamber’s office at the depot.

Another perk of having my image chosen is for me to have a solo exhibit in the chamber office during the month of September. My show is included in the Mill Valley Art Commission’s 1st Tuesday Artwalk on September 5 between 5:30pm and 7:30pm. There will be about another dozen spaces open in downtown MV during this time. So come on down to the chamber office at 85 Throckmorton Avenue during the ArtWalk and enjoy some spirits and snacks and see some amazing photographs of Mill Valley and Marin. I look forward to seeing you!

The O’Hanlon Art Center’s current “on the wall” exhibit is “Art & Poetry”. It was juried by Marin poet Prarthro Sereno and she selected 32 pieces of art (including photographs) out of 128 entries. She was looking for art that would inspire poets to write a poem about each piece.

I was fortunate to have my “Sisters on the Trail to Mount Everest” selected and poet Linda Martinez Robertson wrote a poem about it titled “In Memory of Pasang Lahmu”. The last day to see these works at the O’Hanlon is Thursday, August 24.

Seven of my Ring Mountain Preserve images are on the walls of Rocco’s Pizza Restaurant which is in Mill Valley off of E. Blithedale Avenue between Whole Foods and Rite Aid. I am grateful to owners Luciano and Rosilene for this opportunity to show my work. Click 1st photo for gallery.
